Amgen Focuses on Education This World Osteoporosis Day

Worldwide every three seconds a bone breaks due to osteoporosis, a chronic disease that makes bones more likely to break and is especially prevalent in postmenopausal women.1, 2

This October 20, World Osteoporosis Day, Amgen aims to help educate and raise awareness about this silent disease with an Osteoporosis 101 animated video.

The video provides a worldwide snapshot of the burden of osteoporosis and the impact of the disease, highlights common risk factors and empowers women to talk to their doctor about making a bone health plan.
