Amgen Korea held on June 2, 2016, an event to celebrate its new office opening and the launch of its first two medicines in Korea. Amgen’s Korean affiliate officially opened in Seoul in November 2015. Speakers at the June 2 opening event included Desmond Padhi, Amgen vice president, Medical Sciences; Penny Wan, vice president and general manager of Amgen’s Japan Asia Pacific Region; and Sang Noh, general manager of Amgen’s Korean affiliate.
“Amgen looks forward to being an active member of the local biotechnology community and helping to advance the growth of this industry in Korea,” said Sang Noh. “Amgen Korea is committed to continuing to provide innovative medicines to Korean patients, in accordance with our global mission to serve seriously ill patients,” Noh added.
