Brenda Torres joined Amgen in 2006 and was named Senior Vice President of Global Supply Chain in October 2023.

Prior to this role, Torres served as Vice President and Site Head for Amgen’s flagship manufacturing facility in Puerto Rico (AML), supporting Amgen’s volume-driven growth strategy with a focus on safety, quality, and compliance.

Torres has more than 25 years of industry experience. She has held multiple leadership positions at Amgen in site management and supply chain at sites that include Amgen’s global headquarters in Thousand Oaks, California and in Massachusetts.

Prior to Amgen, Torres served in leadership positions at Abbott, Baxter Healthcare and PepsiCo. She holds a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from the Polytechnic University of Puerto Rico.
