Amgen uses a wide variety of research tools and technologies to help discover and develop new therapeutics, including animal or adult stem cells in preclinical research to help unlock new scientific insights, model complex diseases, screen new compounds and identify novel medicines.

Amgen has not and does not perform or fund research in the area of human embryonic or fetal stem cells.
